Nail Free, the way to be !
A dab of construction adhesive to hold the piece of trim to the blocking, a bead of wood glue to hold the joint together..
and soon you'll have some nice looking flooring on your ceiling !!!
Hope to be done today.
And it's not really "nail free", the trim is nailed thru the tongue (the floorings all "tongue and groove") and the miters are glued in place, so it looks nail free !
(For HKI)

For "Taping", I'm more of a "mesh" kind o guy...
I use "mesh tape" at the butt joints... Paper at the corners.
I find you can jump right into the "second coat" stage of taping this way, saves on man hours... which saves you money !
AND... if you use "20 minute" as your first (their second) coat, it dries right quick, and you can throw a "topping coat" on the same day!
Hmm "20 minute"... me likey !
Now, important note - SCRAPE the joint between coats.
Some folk like sanding it bacause it makes the joint feel smooth. Thing is, if you sand it before the next coat, it'll have more of a chance to "poc" (bubble up). Scraping just makes the work go faster and smoother.
Mmm, me likey the tapey !!!

More Pretty from ugly
The Cabs where taken from one suite in West Allis, and relocated (and one "chopped down") to another suite, the tops are new.
Fresh coat of paint, new tops, and all is well !!!

Some of the "ugly" we make pretty...
Before
The whole room was in pieces. Had been for a few years.
After
Actually a fun job, the client had me dig through the basement for old matching trim, and had the stainer "match it up". Wound up with a nice rustic look to the place.
Very nice. And this is something we can do for you! Have something you need put back together? All things are possible! Just e-mail me and we'll get the job started !

A job I ran and worked on
A project I was "Working Superintendent" on a few years back when I was working for another company. I had GREAT workers helping me !!!
Before (after demo phase):
After
...I'll add more "work history" as time permits. ...I find myself busy till the end of next week.
FYI... There's ALWAYS time for a "walk through" !!!
